คำอธิบายรายวิชา

   การพัฒนาการของการสบฟัน สาเหตุและการจำแนกการสบฟันที่ผิดปกติ การตรวจช่องปากและเก็บข้อมูลเพื่อนำไปสู่การวินิจฉัย และการวางแผนการรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันในระยะฟันน้ำนม ฟันชุดผสม และฟันถาวร การออกแบบ การปรับ และการทำเครื่องมือชนิดถอดได้แบบง่ายทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันในชนิดต่าง ๆ ในการแก้ไขการสบฟันท่าผิดปกติในระยะเริ่มแรกและการเคลื่อนฟันแบบง่าย ความรู้พื้นฐานในการรักษาผู้ป่วยปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่ บทบาทของทันตแพทย์ทั่วไปในการรักษาและส่งต่อทางทันตกรรมจัดฟัน

   Development of occlusion, aetiology and classification of malocclusion, oral examination and data collection to facilitate principles of orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning of primary dentition, mixed dentition and permanent dentition, Design, adjustment and laboratory practice of removable orthodontic appliance for correcting malocclusion in early stage , minor tooth movement; basic knowledge in treatment of cleft patients; role of general dental practitioners in orthodontic treatment and referring to  orthodontist.
