Examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning for dental injuries in children; use of rubber dam isolation; administration of local anesthesia; tooth extraction; restoration of primary teeth and newly erupted permanent teeth; pulp therapy in primary teeth; stainless steel crowns; oral health care and disease prevention for children with special health care needs and those with systemic conditions; advanced behavior management techniques; space maintenance for premature loss of primary teeth.
Clinical practice includes: passing and receiving of anesthetic syringes, rubber dam placement, SMART technique, restoration of primary teeth, stainless steel crown placement, root canal treatment, and fabrication of space maintainers (Band and Loop space maintainer).
